A Message from Mayor Chuck McClanahan
Dear Citizens,
It is that time of year, with spring in the air, Derrick Days is not far behind. The week begins Saturday, April 18, 2015, with the local Corsicana Noon Lions Club sponsoring the 2015 Oil Town Mini-thon at the YMCA. The agenda for this event will be a 5K run/walk and a 1 mile run/walk; both of these events will begin at 9 A.M. Not to worry, if someone has forgotten to register in advance, registration will begin as early as 7 A.M.

FB Group Passes 2,000 Members Mark!
We are proud to announce that on June 22nd, the Corsicana My Hometown Facebook Group passed the 2,000 Members mark - within less than one year of founding our organization and establishing the Facebook group. Corsicana My Hometown is the Place To Go for everyone who loves Corsicana, no matter if current or former resident of our lovely town.
Business Properties In Corsicana
One of the goals of the Corsicana My Hometown group is to help grow Corsicana in a positive way. With this in mind, we want to list from time to time available business properties in the area, as opportunities for new businesses to come to Corsicana. Corsicana My Hometown is not affiliated with any Real Estate Agency, nor does our organization get commission for these listings. We post these available properties solely for the benefit of our community, for growth and new jobs.
This 1.5 million sq. ft. building, located just off Interstate 45 in Corsicana, currently has 1 million sq. ft. of vacant space and is available for either lease or purchase. The property, which sits on 139 acres adjacent to the Union Pacific main line and has 26 ft. ceiling heights throughout, would make an ideal site for manufacturing or distribution.

I love living in Colorado, but there is no place like home. This page makes me feel a little but closer.

Men... you can accomplish anything in your life if you want to badly enough -- if you have enough pride, desire and determination, you can be successful at whatever you choose to do. I will work you harder than you ever thought you could work -- but if you are to win you must have something down inside of you that causes you to rise above the rest.
