Everything you need to know before booking a guided fishing trip.
Richland Chambers is renowned for hybrid striped bass, white bass, blue catfish, and crappie. The lake's excellent forage base produces impressive growth rates. Limits are common on guided trips, especially for hybrids and whites.
Fishing is productive year-round. Spring (March-May) is peak season for white bass runs. Fall (September-November) brings excellent hybrid action. Summer trips run mornings only due to heat. Winter catfishing can be outstanding.
Most guides provide all gear, tackle, and bait. You'll need a valid Texas fishing license, sunscreen, sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing, and your own drinks/snacks. Some guides provide bottled water.
Several guides accommodate large groups with multiple boats. Corporate outings, family reunions, and team-building events are popular. Gift certificates are available from most services — perfect for birthdays and holidays.
